Payment Terms

  • A 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm booking. Bookings are made on a strictly first come first served basis. Dates will ONLY be secured upon receipt of the deposit.
  • Balance of any fees due is to be paid on, or before the date of the photoshoot. No photographs will be delivered until all payments due have been paid in full. Payment for additional images and services is to be made when they are ordered.
  • Payment can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or other means agreed on.

Cancellation, Postponement/Rescheduling

  • If a client cancels a booking more than seven (7) calendar days before the booked date, any deposit made to us shall be refunded in full if we are able to re-book the same date. 
  • If the cancellation occurs less than seven (7) calendar days before the booked date, the client forfeits the deposit. Any other payments made shall be refunded in full.
  • If a client cancels within less than 24 hours or on the booked date, the full fee will be charged.
  • In the event a reschedule is necessary, the client shall communicate not less than 48hrs to the booked date.
  • In addition, the client may be charged for any expenses incurred as a result of cancellation or postponement.

Failure to Perform

  • In the unlikely event that we are unable to perform due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond our control, all payments made shall be refunded in full to the client.
  • In the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or computer malfunction, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault of ours, all payments made shall be refunded in full to the client.

Time

  • Please endeavour to arrive on the agreed time on the booked date.
  • A grace period of up to 30 minutes will be given for each session. After 30 minutes, clients will incur a charge of 100gh.  After 60 minutes, the session will be cancelled and the client will forfeit payment for the session.

Delivery

  • Photographs will be delivered within 5-10 working days.
  • Delivery is also subject to the terms of the package chosen by the client.

Copyright

  • In accordance with Ghana’s Copyright Laws, the copyright of all images created by us is owned by us. We retain all copyright benefits for all images created by us forever, unless we give written authorisation.

Usage

  • The client is obtaining digital photographs and in some cases prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said digital photographs or prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than us without consent from us.
  • The client hereby allows us to display any photograph taken by us and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, sample albums etc. In the event where this won’t be possible, the client may be required to pay a fee.
  • This applies to all social media, including Facebook and blogs. When published online we will appreciate a photo credit like “Photo by: @ghananiephotography”. The client agrees that they will under no circumstances alter any photographs that are placed in public on the internet. The client agrees that the photographs cannot be cropped (with the exception of the forced cropping for certain apps), altered in color, or edited in any way.

Others

  • We keep client files for up to 1 year after the photography session, and we will not be liable for any claims after this period. All client files will be deleted and backups will be purged after this period.
  • The client shall be responsible for the behaviour of any persons accompanying them to the session. The client will fully reimburse us for any loss/damage caused to property or equipment.
  • Unless stated, the duration of a session is up to one (1) hour.
